Deb's Over-Twelve-Days of 2012 Tarot Forecasts: Aquarius and the Scythe

Kinda hard to do when you've got a lot to think about, say, and sort both internally and externally, innit?

Here's the thing: you've got a whole year to do some serious weeding.  Personally, I'd get this shit done soon.  That's soon or as soon as possible, not later in the year when you'll decide you don't feel like it, when you won't feel "motivated", because I don't want you to find yourself in a position in which you are forced to make a certain cut.  I also wouldn't want for you to be cut out of a certain equation.

Not to mention, somehow I don't think that intense pressure brings out the best in you.  The bitchy side of you perhaps, but most certainly not the best side of you.

The Scythe is about weeding all the unnecessary stuff, people, situations, and so forth who/that no longer suit you, your work, or how you relate to others.  The first half of the year will be about preparing your "soil" adequately, de-weeding it, then nurturing and maintaining your garden.

The second half, or from autumn onward, it's all about the harvest.  All about reaping what you sow.

You've got some powerful tools to work with, Aquarius, as evidenced by the Scythe.  Such sharp tools can slice, dice, attack, defend, perform surgery.  But they can be deadly as well.  Do not use them, or your leadership, to wound, judge, harm, etc, just because you can.

And don't think for a second that you're too smart, too ethical, too honest to hurt people you shouldn't be hurting or amputating from your life.  Because this year will test your sense of ethics and, at times, it will be difficult for you to rationalize people and situations.  When this happens, I suggest you take a personal day to retreat and think very long and hard (I know-- that's what she said!) about your next move or response.  Make a list of pros and cons and work from there.

The Scythe warns against amputating perfectly good people and opportunities for those who/which may bestow you with a sense of importance.

On the other hand, it warns as well against letting yourself (your health, your responsibilities) go.  That's the thing about weeds or "weeds"-- they can infest and kill whatever good stuff you have going in your garden.  Catch them early and get rid of them before they overwhelm and darken your space and leave you feeling defeated.  Nurture whatever it is you want to grow.

Weed useless information from practical, necessary stuff.

Although you may be willing to consider all opinions, perspectives, comments, your challenge will come in when you'll need to decide upon what's actually fair and correct, and this may not leave you the most popular person.  So then, you'll have to figure out what's more important to you: popularity/acceptance or ethics/morality.

It's said that Aquarius is an individual, a rebel, noticeable.  But the reality is that, in the process, Aquarian energy wants to unite, and it wants to be a part of something bigger than itself.

I guess what's going to matter to Aquarius is whether he/she is growing and headed somewhere.  But that will depend on how well Aquarius is handling experiences and knowledge, and whether he/she is grooming, trimming, and cutting whatever needs to be groomed, trimmed, and cut... one step at a time.  No need to overdo it.
