Deb's Approximately-12-Days of 2012 Tarot Forecasts: Libra and the Clouds

If it doesn't make sense, it's usually not true.- Judy Sheindlin
It's clear that this isn't the year for making major life decisions. I'd wait until the second-half of 2012 at least, but maybe that's just me. Even if you have the funds at the ready, and it seems the world is your oyster this year (and it very well can be due to the options and opportunities at your disposal), I'd wait a little longer on taking something big on because it could very well turn out that we miss some very important details like, say, promotions. OK, fine, you've saved up for this awesome car, house, program, lavish vacation, grand wedding, or whatever else. While it seems like a super-duper idea to dive into this new thing and such on paper, you could miss out on getting that thing you really want, what you really dream of having, the place you dream of living in, etc, at a cheaper or more affordable price next year. You could also miss out on getting something you need.
I'm not suggesting that you hold back on providing or attaining necessities. Just hold your horses, Libra, at least until the later part of 2012 on decisions with archangels singing and playing harps in the background. The world's not ending just yet. You have time.
What you don't have time for are any regrets. So this warning, then, goes out to you as well if an individual or opportunity offers you the sun, moon, and stars. It is highly likely that said individual or opportunity is completely full of shit. As such, get your promises in writing. Insurance, maybe? A savings account? Whatever qualifies as an "umbrella" in your life. Whatever ensures you protection or shelter from a storm.
See, once the dark clouds come rolling in, you're not allowed to see everything you need to see for a while. And this isn't the safest, surest environment or time, then, to take big chances or invest in certain dreams and goals. Sorry, but that's life. For now.
Also, ease up on the alcohol, drugs, smoking, medications, illusions, judgment-calls, jumping to conclusions, drama and tantrums from others, whatever inhibits your focus and drive and performance. Whatever attacks your mind, lungs or respiratory system as well. This is a year of many many distractions, much activity, and noise or "noise". Stay focused by omitting all the crap and tuning out from all the folks who don't deserve your attention. Ensure that you are numero uno this year, despite how much everyone else might need you. And keep away from "stinky" situations as you'll be more sensitive than usual this year to smells and, thus, potentially barfy.
You'll also be super sensitive to others' moods.
Deep-breathing/meditation might be very good for you. So is sufficient sleep and rest.
The good news: You get a visit from the much-coveted genie dude in a lamp. I'm not one for making wishes, myself, unless it means helping others in some way. Wish wisely. Set and put your intentions out there wisely. A dream or two will come true this year.
What you want to make sure of is that your dream-come-true doesn't steal from someone else, or is unethical in any way.
I think your income or lifestyle will change so that it enables you to daydream a little and plan for the near future. Don't feel bad about that as you've worked towards certain privileges. Don't get all obnoxious about it either though.
More good news: you have foresight going for you that a lot of others don't have. Probably because some don't want the gift, or don't care, or they're too caught up in pretty things and illusions and empty hopes/dreams/desires/promises they don't want to let go of.
The latter is not your problem, Libra.
What is your problem, or responsibility, is using your power, your magic, your gifts, for good and not ill. In truth.
The Clouds card indicates that storms will be rolling in for sure. Rain storms, wind storms, snow storms-- symbolic (such as those found in communication or relationships) or real ones. Their ferocity levels vary, and they could present themselves within you or through stormy others.
How you handle, survive, and move on from them depends on how well you prepare, whether your plate is full of the real deal or the ideal. Keep in mind: you've enough, or more than enough on your plate as it is.
Some of you will see those storms rolling in, and you'll be just fine this year. They'll pass.
You should have the time, resources, communication skills, and level of understanding and patience to prepare well by now... for the good and the bad. You can make it.
You should also be grown-up enough to balance your-- life, work, social, relationship-- needs by now. If not, this year will show you how it's done. Becoming a ______aholic, addict, or control-freak is not a good idea. Same goes for giving into certain temptations.
Negotiate.
Skies are clear. Clouds roll in. Storms hit. Skies clear again. This should serve as proof that cycles exist and operate, with or without your permission or approval. What matters is how you live through them, what you learn, and how well you protect and arm yourself.
Using your imagination and mental powers? That's a great idea. Keeping from getting lazy or feeling entitled? Working hard for what you want, staying a good course, choosing the tougher road over the easier one, telling/writing stories? Having guts? Getting 'it' all in writing? Keeping others' (particularly scalding or horrid) affairs at a distance? More great ideas.
Patience is quite the virtue, Libra. Take your time. Plan accordingly. Ask questions. Feel free to say maybe, I'll think about it, I don't think so, and no, thanks. The world is vast, the universe is a mystery, and people can be fucking bizarre.
Wait until the fog lifts before making important decisions.
