Deb's Approximately 12 Days of 2012 Tarot Forecasts: Leo and the Cupid

Operation: Get Over Thyself
Leo, you're gonna be surrounded by imperfections in both yourself and others, in fact, all year long. Hopefully we're just talking basics like bumps in noses, large ears, underbites, excessive body hair, and stubby toes, and perhaps an inability to perform a headstand or do the tree pose, because some personality-imperfections will not be easy for you to handle.
However, drama like disappointing or unreliable individuals such as friends and relatives can be avoided by not putting all your eggs-- all your hopes, dreams, wishes, desires-- in one basket. Don't expect what is clearly a a casual, fun, or superficial relationship to turn into some kinda deep, intoxicating, learning experience. And don't assume that creating a picture-perfect scenario will be, well, perfect... for you.
The Cupid is a card of theatrics, hosting, modeling, indulging, cosmetic changes, makeovers, reinventions when it comes to beauty. If you've got an asset going for you, flaunt it. You'll stand out. Enjoy it all, but be wise not to overdo these things, burning a hole in your budget and possibly in your heart when attempts at attracting/keeping another (or an opportunity) simply fail. Remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And there is no need to try too hard or overextend yourself.
Also, watch your weight, for it may take longer than you'll anticipate to shed pounds you gain this year. And I know you don't want to follow a super-strict eating routine. C'mon, who the fuck does?
Indulge on occasion. That way you'll have something to look forward to, and you'll appreciate and reminisce about it a great deal (prolonging the happiness/fuzzy stuff).
Besides, it costs money to shift into a different size wardrobe. This is not a year to spend much on trivial things. Trust that you'll feel amazing spending on what is truly worthy to you. Guilt, for one thing, is not a feeling you find worthy of experiencing... or fun.
The Cupid suggests revisiting people, activities, and places which/who brought you joy throughout childhood or younger years. It's OK to make your inner-child and heart happy. Who cares if others find what you do stupid or immature. You could look great, hot even, doing these things, and you could attract people who share in your interests and lifestyle (which may be crucial for you to do, actually).
This is a year in which you will learn to distinguish between temporary fixes (including fair-weather friends and partners) and long-term ones. I hope the road will not be too difficult. The things and people who/that have made you happy and comfortable up until now may not stick around until next year. This is because some, if not all, of these relationships began on brittle foundations, and some have been built on the notion of obligation. It's sort of like being in elementary school and hanging out with certain friends (who aren't really your friends, and who you don't share an intimate connection with) so that you don't feel left out. Like that. And it'll be OK, because the truth is that you haven't been feeling like the friend of some of these folks, either. How could an intimate connection have developed or existed, anyway, when you couldn't express your real self, your real thoughts, you real feelings?
Make room, Leo, for things and folks that/who matter. And folks and things that/who matter will make room for you.
