Deb's Twelve Days of 2012 Tarot Forecasts: Taurus and The Anchor

Stay your ass put.
Just what you want to hear, right Taurus? Right. Well, let's face it, you're good at it.
The Anchor shows up during a time when one should hunker down and get serious. And settled in. This is a year to commit to whatever and whomever is before us. To focus and give attention to and nurture what is right in front of you. You should be done with searching, seeking, researching, exploring options for now. You've had your fun and freedom, and this year is fresh territory for you. Territory where you can cultivate what you want, and make with your surroundings whatever you wish.
Get excited about all this, because it's not like you'll have much of a choice in the matter. See, the Anchor represents something keeping you right where you are. An obligation, a task, a project, a job, a relationship, or a burden. And, well, whatever it is, it's not going away until you deal with and accept it (unfortunately, you're not always good at this). In fact, the more you ignore it, overlook it, pretend the load is not there and not on your shoulders and mind, think that others are gonna go ahead and do things your way, the weight on you will just get heavier and heavier and heavier... and more obvious and annoying.. until the point in which it brings your spirits down (which is not where you want to go).
See, here's the mighty fun life-twist for you: confronting your obligation, burden, problem, task, project, relationship, job, and accepting/dealing with it will translate to your freedom. Ensuring not just your happiness and growth but the happiness and growth of others, too, will translate to your success.
And before you think that this year will be as easy as saying "OK, got it", I've got news for you: you're just getting started. You just got here. And you have a whole lotta shit to do.
But the best part, Taurus, of all this is that your commitment, your staying power, your hardwork, your persistence and effort, your knowledge-- it will all pay off for you. Again, provided that you're not just cultivating fresh territory all for yourself. That's too easy. Share. Be considerate. Set the right example.
Besides, you'll be good at establishing a sense of community and belonging.
I'd put off on-seas travel (yep, that's no lavish cruisey) unless it's absolutely necessary. Try and stay local this year, if you can. If not, just take precautions if traveling by boat or ship. Or go-go by train, car, plane. Don't forget any shots or meds.
Knowing what's best for others, Taurus, is fine. Showing it is better, and who better than you to showcase quality?
Someone will prove to be your rock, too. That's gotta be good news.
