Full Moon in Sagittarius: Sunday, June 7, 2009
"Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." - Bernard Baruch

As we aim to shoot for the moon in the coming days, we'll come to terms with the universe's magical way of showering us all with starry opportunities. Fresh and bright ideas, optimism, social events, additional responsibilities, new careers and other life-changing decisions and directions bring with them a hopeful outlook for a more interesting, inspiring and accomplished tomorrow.
Let's take "tomorrow", literally, and leave concerns about "our future" to Aquarius. Sagittarius (a masculine sign) knows that the future remains in question. Future, schmuture; why the hell should he worry about something that isn't even here yet? There's no good enough reason to wait another twenty years to try our hands at something new. And it's never too late to take on a fresh challenge.
Sagittarius, like the state Lottery, encourages us to follow our vision, mainly because he is interested in taking the next step towards success, immediately. Success is right there for the taking-- and he'll take it, no matter how small the prize. Inexperienced is Sagittarius' middle name. Yet he makes the best of being a little wet behind the ears through a love of learning; this is the sign that knows the capital of a region somewhere in the ass crack of Earth. The more interests and activities to take on, the merrier.
However, Sagittarius needs to keep from spreading himself too thin. Not only does this sign equate obligations to imprisonment but he has a bit of difficulty accepting, or seeing the light in, failure. His lows are the exact opposite of his highs-- exact. So we can imagine what he feels like when he isn't on top of the world, popular or happily distracted by physical activity, classes, noise (as in music), animals and/or people.
Keep life chugging along as Sagittarius thrives in both freedom and movement. But do seek the beauty in a gloomy, rainy period. And whatever you do, don't forget to announce your achievements-- state them loud, state them proud! In this way, we'll inspire the same out of others.
Give Your Damn Dreams a Chance!
Most ideas, plans and projects, particularly those intended to reach the public masses, have reached a golden, ripe stage. That's what full moons are about-- culmination. It's possible to be blind to this reality due to accumulating responsibilities, obligations and the desire to explore and perform beyond our wildest expectations. However, let's take it easy and organize our matters by level of priority for optimum (a Sagittarian keyword) results. Getting our sh*t together and under control will grant an upswing in productivity and pleasure.
We all need freedom to make things happen. But what we fail to notice is that there is freedom in good company. Let's hang with a douchebag for proof. We inflict the overwhelming feeling of "too much to do" upon ourselves. While Sagittarius is a "yes" sign, taking on whatever is asked of him, it would benefit us to duck from some offers and invitations. Sagittarius can fall short on promises because he is not keen on commitments. And even if he means the best for others, he can be too straight-forward for his own good. If we take on too much, a moany, cranky "do I have to?" is destined to come from our mouths. And since no one wants to spend time with a fart, it is recommended that we do what we can-- the less obligations, the better.
Our goals have a greater chance at growth followed by success beneath the week-long energies of this full moon. From now until the 10th of June (or thereabouts), the full moon in Sagittarius fills us with promise thanks to its ruling planet, Jupiter. Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, is the gigantic gasball of luck and expansion. It is also surrounded by the most moons. So it could be that our projects have been big ones made up of several distinct components. If this is the case, it is important to get all our ducks in a row prior to making a presentation or diving into a new task. Let's not set off into something different just yet. We've put all this work into this for a reason, and there's more work left to do. So let's leave nothing unfinished.
The fiery archer has more to do with what we can accomplish within the next 24 hours or so if at all possible. "Let's do it, already!" is his motto. Why waste time?
Agreed. Why waste time? We can knock our responsibilities out with a big, bold punch a lot sooner than we think. At this point, most of what we set ourselves out to do will be easy, anyway, as we are seasoned in certain areas. Therefore, even large quantities of work in familiar areas will be a breeze-- simply no match for the energy and determination we'll have to achieve success.
Let's be genuine in our offers. Humor will help set the stage for fun a great deal.
Let's not be quick to judge. Well, at least not too loudly!
Let's prepare to meet our legacies.
Let's keep our violent arms (and words) to ourselves. What could be stirred up in the days ahead may take a long, long time to recover from. It takes a nice while for a Sagittarius to erupt. And angry Sagittarian words are daggers.
Let's keep from asking a question we really don't want an answer for.
We won't be able to stop anyone from reaching their goals.
Tease others is a no-no with all the hypersensitivity in the air.
The truth sets us free but it also possesses the capability to wound the clueless. Thus, let's say what needs to be said and then let's drop the stupid topic. It is advised that we keep from getting on anyone's nerves with lectures or critiques. But if we insist on getting on another's nerves, let's not be surprised if our critiques or teachings are outdone by witty, blunt, sarcastic or crude remarks or even profane language-- all make up the Sagittarian in-your-face, asshole! communication specialty.
We get what we ask for.
What's next? Well, we wrap our stuff up. Another two weeks is at our disposal for this very purpose, actually. Once the new moon in loving Cancer (the feminine sign which also happens to be ruled by the moon) arrives on the 22nd, our audiences will be waiting for our finished product, skill, talent or gift with open arms. By then, any creations intended to feed, nurture, protect, humor (and therefore soothe) fellow souls will have our undivided attention. Cancer enjoys a great show, so let's be sure to put our best foot forward. 'Cause, really, it'll be about time.
