An Antsy Milo
Holy cow! Our thermometer read "55-degrees", this afternoon. Sure, that high reading probably came about due to the thermometer's sunlight bath from our east-facing window. But that wasn't the point.
The point was that today was unusually, albeit briefly, warm. And as such, countless shameless ants came by for a visit, enjoying a stay in Milo the cat's kibbles. Our garden apartment, easily-accessible to critters, hadn't helped our situation, I guess. Not to mention that Milo's dish is positioned near to our front door.
But, c'mon! Just what the FUCK was an ant colony doing in our home in the middle of winter? Man, those teeny-weeny crawlers didn't waste any time!
I killed them off, instantly, with paper towels, cleaning fluid and my special squishing ability. You know, right after Milo protested with angry meows all over the house at 9:30 AM, waking me up after only 4.5 hours of sleep.
Sorry, pro-lifers. It was either them or us.

Sorry ants! You went after Milo's food and that's a no-no in any species.
